GENERAL PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS SMALL

Here’s How To Prepare For Our Services (Please Review And Prepare):

Preparation Instructions (Residential):

– (General) Clear all areas prior to arrival, including furniture or personal belongings, where you want the carpet, tile, outdoor areas, showers, or countertops to be cleaned. Remove any loose items off the ground. Ensure there will be direct parking (in front of house/ driveway etc.) and the technician won’t need to move in the middle of service. (Move vehicles out prior to services if someone in the house will need to leave during the middle of service).

– (General- Indoor) Crack open windows for air circulation to speed up drying. For carpet cleaning bedrooms, standard closets are included but the closet door needs to be open and everything needs to be removed from off the ground. We do not open doors.

– (General- Outdoor) Remove any breakable items and loose items such as vases and other decorations.

– (Safety) Secure all pets.  Doors might remain open during cleaning for hoselines. Some pets do not prefer or can attempt to bite equipment or walk on freshly cleaned or sealed areas. We are not responsible for re-cleaning or sealing areas. For best results and to ensure the safety of your pet, please keep them properly secured.  The technician will be happy to work with you regarding any accommodations, feel free to discuss with tech directly or call office.

– (Safety) Please stay away from any equipment and hoselines and keep pets and children away as well. Hoselines can move at anytime and hard surfaces can be slippery while being cleaned.  Feel free to speak with technician directly for any accomodations needed.

– (Moving Furniture) Unless otherwise listed in the quote or if property is vacant, Technician will be moving  light furniture as long as personal/ fragile/ electronic items are first cleared from furniture. Please move all personal and fragile or electrical items in advance. Light furniture includes: dining & desk chairs, coffee and end tables depending on weight, stools. All exposed areas listed to will be cleaned.  Please reference quote, invoice, our terms and conditions, or call the office for more information on Moving Furniture policy.

– (Upholstery) Detached cushions will be propped up once cleaned to allow proper drying. Rotate cushions periodically to allow all areas to air-dry properly.  House fans can be used to help with air circulation as well once service has been completed.

– (Sealing) – Please be sure to follow sealant drying instructions.  Do not walk on any areas (or allow your pets to) during or after the cleaning process as that can dirty the area to be sealed and leave marks in the sealant drying.   Once dry, many sealants can be walked on, however, the sealant still needs to cure.  Moving furniture (pulling chairs out) or water use must be avoided until area has cured (including countertops).  Light use only until area is completely cured. Showers cannot be used until completely cured.   Please reference quote, invoice, our terms and conditions, or call the office for more information on Sealant instructions.

– (Area Rugs) – Please reference our moving furniture policy if applicable. Rugs are cleaned in place when possible.  Any rugs that cannot be cleaned in place can be brought outside to be cleaned in an area such as garage, driveway or patio. We also offer off-site cleaning. The technician can pickup the area rug, clean off-site and bring back to reinstall. Cleaning typically takes approximately 2-3 weeks. If you are in the process of moving or your home is under construction, we can deliver your rug wrapped. Speak with office regarding arrangements.

(Post-Cleaning) Do not walk on carpet, rugs or tile until it is dry. That includes pets.  If you must walk on areas, use socks or plastic booties. Don’t use the same socks/booties to walk on dry areas and wet areas as you may transfer dirt onto wet areas.
